Why we stay small

Customized care, one dog at a time.

Every visit is one-on-one — never several dogs being juggled at once. That focus is what lets us give your dog the personal attention they deserve, read what stresses them, and adjust in real time. It's a higher quality of care, and it's how we get to truly bond with your fur baby.

01

Low volume, on purpose

We take five dogs a day, not forty. Each appointment has room to run long if a dog needs it to.

02

Fear-free certified

Every groomer here is trained in fear-free handling — reading stress before it becomes a struggle, not after.

03

One-on-one, always

Your dog gets a groomer's undivided attention for the whole visit, never one of several being handled at once. No cage dryers, no stacked runs — just an open crate if they like a space of their own.

04

Products we trust

We hold every shampoo, conditioner, and finishing product to a strict quality standard — nothing touches your dog that we wouldn't use on our own.

The Book

We leave gaps in the schedule on purpose.

A big dog having a hard day can turn a 45-minute groom into an hour and a half. Most salons absorb that by rushing the next appointment. We absorb it by never filling every hour to begin with.

That's why the book only ever holds five names a day — and why one slot most days is left open, for whichever dog needs it most.

Services

Every groom starts as a conversation.

Exact pricing depends on coat, size, and temperament — we confirm it when we book, not after your dog is already on the table.

Bath

Wash, blow-dry by hand, brush-out, ears and paw trim.

from $35

Tidy Up

A lighter trim and shape-up to keep your dog fresh between full grooms.

from $55

Full Groom

Bath, complete breed-appropriate cut, nails, ears, and a full brush-out.

from $70

First Visit Consultation

A short, no-scissors meet-and-greet before the first real appointment.

$0

Bath, Tidy Up, and Full Groom pricing scales with your dog's size (small to giant) and coat (short/smooth to long/curly) — we'll confirm the exact price when we book.

All dogs must have current proof of Rabies and Bordetella vaccinations on file, along with an up-to-date flea preventative routine.

Your Groomers

Two certified groomers, no rotating cast.

A small, familiar team meets your dog at the door, grooms them, and hands them back to you — never a stranger filling in. It's easier to notice when something's off, and easier for a nervous dog to trust the room.

  • Both Fear Free Certified Professional Groomers
  • Trained in senior, reactive, and first-time dog handling
  • Continuing education in breed-specific styling

Beyond the Groom

It's not always about looking great — sometimes it's arts and crafts.

Paw-print painting, beaded collar charms, and other reasons to stop by that have nothing to do with a haircut.

Booking

The book runs 4–6 weeks out — longer in season. Worth the wait.

From October through April, our calendar fills further ahead, so it's worth reaching out early. Tell us about your dog — age, coat, and anything that makes past grooms harder than they should be — and we'll find the slot that fits.
